It was Yorktown Baptist Church who provided a place for students to continue their education. It occurred again in 1939, when another fire destroyed the school: Yorktown offered their facilities for Grade 5-7 students. As part of the partnership, MCTS students were required to attend Sunday school every week and get their \"punch card,\" which verified their presence in Sunday school. Frank Peterson pastored them.
